Cayman Islands-based United America Indemnity has appointed Brian DeGraw as vice president of professional liability for Diamond State Group, one of three divisions of its U.S. operations.
DeGraw will report directly to David J. Myers, president of Diamond State Group.
UAI’s other divisions are Penn-America Group, United National Group and Wind River Reinsurance.
DeGraw joined UAI from United States Liability Insurance Group, where he was second vice president responsible for technology professional liability. Previously, he was the vice president of sales for ISG International/CCBsure Insurance Services, vice president of sales for InsureHiTech and assistant vice president of sales for Commonwealth Risk Service.
DeGraw began his career in 1994 with the Philadelphia Insurance Companies.
