Everest Indemnity Insurance Company, a U.S. insurance subsidiary of the Bermuda-based Everest Re Group, has started writing business through its newly opened Environmental Insurance underwriting office located at its headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ. The new facility enhances the Company’s 10 years of experience in underwriting environmental-related insurance products.
“With this new facility, Everest will quickly and efficiently service its wholesale and retail producers of environmental products, which are available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia,” said the bulletin.
Everest’s environmental products are targeted at a wide range of contractors, consultants and environmental professionals who are seeking pollution liability coverage.
Coverage is available for contractors’ pollution, professional environmental consultants, environmental contractors, motor vehicle, waste facilities, and site specific pollution. In addition, Everest offers a full array of claims and loss control services including the ability to provide a certified industrial hygienist with environmental consultant work experience in managing environmental projects.
