Zurich announced from its Illinois headquarters that Ron Davis has been appointed executive vice president and head of customer management for General Insurance, effective immediately.
Davis, who previously served as global relationship manager for Zurich Global Corporate, is based in New York and will report to Rocco Maggiotto, executive vice president, customer and distribution management, Zurich Global General Insurance.
Maggiotto described Davis’ new role as helping to “define, develop and implement common customer management practices across the General Insurance business segments.”
Davis joined Zurich in 2000 as a member of the company’s Global Relationship Management leadership team. Prior to joining Zurich, he served as operation manager for Factory Mutual Insurance Company (FM Global) and held various roles in Canada and France – including director-France operations – for Arkwright Mutual Insurance Company.
Davis holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Canada’s Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, and a master’s of business administration from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
