To mark the start of its 20th year of publishing, Agency Ideas (www.agencyideas.com), an industry sales and marketing newsletter, has redesigned its Web site.
The newly revamped Web site enhances usability for visitors and newsletter subscribers, said Alan Shuman, publisher of Agency Ideas, a subscription-only print publication written for property/casualty insurance agents and brokers. Shulman, also a long-time columnist for Insurance Journal magazine, says the newsletter provides readers with unique ideas for P/C sales, cross-selling and producer management.
“We work hard to bring a fresh perspective to the art of selling insurance and greatly appreciate the encouragement and support that carriers, associations, and individual agents have shown to us over nearly two decades,” Shulman said.
The “Free Ideas” area of the site features a free sample PDF, the Agency Idea-of-the-Week, that gives answers to subscriber sales questions and more, he added.
The password-protected “Subscribers-Only Area” contains pre-designed sales and marketing tools that subscribing agents can download and use in their office, based on original concepts presented in recent print articles. This download area facilitates the business development process from written idea to agency action. A participatory Sales Objection Bank for managing common insurance buying concerns is also featured.
The redesigned site also includes extensive information on Agency Ideas brand sales and marketing CDs for producers and managers, CSR sales aids, and the popular Illustrative Insurance Sales Letter Series.
