The Main Street America Group has appointed Ron James as chief information officer and vice president of information technology.
James, who is based in the company’s headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, joined Main Street America in November 2008 as interim chief information officer. He has more than 30 years of experience heading information technology operations at leading property-casualty companies.
Prior to joining Main Street America, James led his own consulting firm, James Group LLC. He previously served as vice president and global account executive at Computer Sciences Corp., where he oversaw the AON account. He has also held executive level positions at Zurich Financial Services and Harleysville Insurance Group
