Well, this one’s not from the Colorado experts, but it still holds the same significance. Hooplah over nothing. Grey or not.

Why does anyone care about these funded guesses? Why does money continue to be spent in this ridiculous pursuit? It matters not if there is only 1 hurricane that forms next year, if it hits and causes several billion dollars of damage, or whether there are 50 named storms that don’t hit.

It only takes one or two to cause devestation to the industry.

And now, without any funding, I’m going to go out on a limb and predict for the next 50 years that we will have at least 2 named storms in each and every one of those 50 hurricane seasons.

How about that? No charge. Thank you, and please come again.

Everyone remembers Katrina, but Rita also caused a lot of damage that same year. It was named storm #18, and there were several more that followed.

I decided not to revise my original forecast of 13 tropical storms and 7 named hurricanes even though there is a slight cooling of the Atlantic basin. It is my belief that our politicians will continue shooting off their mouths about AIG and other things they know nothing about, thus releasing more massive amounts of hot air which in turn will warm the waters and allow more storms to form.
Isn’t it funny now that these politicians are calling for Libby to resign from AIG because he has ties to Goldman Sachs. These politicians put him in office. They want to sit and pass judgement on how businesses should operate and who should get bonuses and who should get fired as CEO, and they cannot even get it together enough to pick a CEO! Ever hear of a background check???
