Crump Insurance Services Inc., based in Roseland, N.J., named Christopher Murphy as chief financial officer.
In this position, Murphy is responsible for all financial activities of Crump Insurance Services, including implementing and maintaining financial systems, providing financial advice and support, and conducting management reporting.
Previously, Murphy served as an independent financial advisor and chief financial officer for Marsh Inc.
Crump Insurance Services is part of Crump Group Inc., one of the largest insurance wholesalers in the United States. The commercial division of Crump Group, Crump Insurance Services is made up of legacy Crump brokerage offices and the former BISYS Commercial Insurance Services operations (5Star Specialty Programs and Tri-City Brokerage).
