Morristown, New Jersey-based program manager PGI Commercial today has added a railroad protective program with coverage provided by underwriters at Lloyd’s, London.
PGI was appointed by the Ark Syndicate, which leads the London market railroad protective consortium, to manage the facility.
The policy has standard limits of $2 million/$6 million and no deductible or SIR. The product is available in all states with a minimum premium of $2,500.
PGI also announced that Angela Freburger-Hammond will serve as underwriter for the program. Freburgr-Hammond, who recently joined PGI, has more than 10 years experience in underwriting railroad protective business.
PGI Commercial is part of the Bermuda-based insurance distributor Primary Group Ltd. and manages property and casualty programs nationwide.
