Really Rosie? A squirrel? Whatever happened to the poor women, children, and minorities that you’re usually obsessively concerned with? No thought of them being run over by a distracted driver? Or is that ok, as long as we protect the cute little rodents?
How about everyone just stay home, put on a blindfold and imagine, for a moment, that you were traveling down the highway. yeow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I could get a job on Obama’ team of people who were looking for ways to save money?
well, i see that we focused so much on texting, but we forget about just being on a cellphone. in NY, this is a big issue and major hit when looking at records for a insurance. i drive down the road and on many occasions see drivers hanging onto the cellphone and leaning against the window, with no clue as to the surrounding events. it truly suprises me that this is not an issue. if you only focus semi-forward, how do you respond to anything behind you, including emergency vehicles or anything beside you?
maybe the squirrels are sending a representative to this summit. they might inquire as to if they need special permission to carry the acorn across the tree limb or powerline instead of crossing the street.
i saw a teenager texting on her phone the other day and she ran over a squirrel i had to pull over and cry it was so sad :'(

Too bad rosie didn’t get run over.
What? just sayin…..
We probably need to pass a national law banning the callous vehicular manslaughter (squirrelslaughter?) of helpless squirrels.

A law protecting squirrels would be good for a lot of the posters on this site.
