NIP Programs, a division of NIP Group, Inc., has a new specialty insurance program designed to serve the funeral industry nationwide.
The new program is called FuneralPro and covers property, business autos like limos and hearses, and a variety of equipment. In addition, it also covers personal effects and property of others, professional liability, even pollution liability.
The FuneralPro program offers standard business coverages like general liability and property through a Business Owners Policy (BOP) format, with optional enhancements including business auto, equipment coverage, professional liability, errors and omissions, directors and officers coverage, employment practices liability and others. The program also offers umbrella liability (with available limits up to $10 million) and workers’ compensation coverage.
The program is underwritten in partnership with an A.M. Best A (Excellent) rated insurance carrier, according to the New Jersey-based NIP Group.
