Of course the Fed gave a “defense of their dealings” just as a burglar who breaks in and steals several thousands worth of merchandise would “defend his dealings.” The only “good” thing about this whole episode is that government is no longer trying to even hide the fact that it is nothing more than a criminal gang writ large.
How come I haven’t seen the list of counterparties and the amounts paid? I’d love to see if any of them are enemies of democracy. Can the Journal find it?
