Markel American Insurance Co. has released an enhanced Manufactured Home Program with new coverage options.
Also, the program can now be managed on Markel’s Web-based policy administration system, MAGIC.
The additions include:
- Equipment Breakdown Coverage: coverage for sudden and accidental failure of electrical and mechanical systems of those built into the home as well as those purchased later.
- Builder’s Risk Endorsement: optional endorsement providing coverage for loss to site improvements prior to the delivery of the manufactured home.
- Incidental Farming: extends coverage for private, not-for-profit farming on the residence premises.
- Identity Fraud: optional coverage that provides reimbursement for expenses related to the “clean-up” associated with identity fraud.
