This is totally wrong. AIG did not pay a damn thing.

The US taxpayers paid for this, never to see their money again.

Just like the GM bailout, $4B loss for the last reported quarter. The taxpayers own this company.

I wonder if the IRS will let each of us write off our losses?

You were doing real good up until the last phrase. IRS will let us pay more so we keep these bums afloat!

i agree, but now, this activity was from 2001 to 2004. wow! so when was this lawsuit established? because this is now 6 years old minimum, or was this filed just because of the other things that went on afterwards. so our money is being used again for this? another reason why this company should have been allowed to go bankrupt. so why am i paying taxes, when they are going to the wrong places? why do i keep paying our congressional folks for a job NOT WELL DONE! would this not be like what they wanted, pay executives for jobs well done and nothing for doing dumb things! why not, afterall, is that not what the pay czar is supposed to do? so, let’s have a pay czar of our own for congress and have the people approve of any money you are spending as well. sounds to me like the budget deficit is going to grow again!

Seattle-based Washington Holdings paid $235 million for the hotel….

aig’s hotel has been sold, guess since they settled, they will use this money to pay the antitrust case!… question: will the rest of it go to the bailout refund?

AIG aka the taxpayers are paying out $9 mil for the criminal actions of certain individuals. Why are we taxpayers being punished for a crime we didn’t commit? Why aren’t the criminals who committed these crimes being held responsible and required to pay for this? Just another example of the rich-boy club robbing this country once again. God forbid that an attorney general go after his fellow rich people.
