Zurich is now offering all commercial property/casualty agents, whether Zurich-appointed or not, free access to 50 specialty insurance programs.
Agents can access the programs through a Web site at www.ZProgramsMatch.com. This Web site, first launched in January 2009, was previously offered to only Zurich-appointed agents.
Zurich’s programs are industry-specific books of commercial lines business administered through program administrators and general agencies.
Examples of the programs available on ZProgramsMatch.com include:
- Roofing contractors
- Staffing services workers compensation
- Gas stations and convenience stores
- Golf and country clubs
- Restaurant workers compensation
- Lawyers’ professional liability
- Builders risk
- Sixteen lines of transportation coverages
All of the programs on ZProgramsMatch.com are underwritten by Zurich.
“These are niche products, and agents don’t always know where to place this
kind of business,” said Jonathan Levine, division marketing director for
Zurich North America Commercial’s Programs & Direct Markets business unit.
“This site allows agents to research each program’s appetite, eligibility
requirements and coverage highlights. Agents can request additional
information and forms for submission from the appropriate program
administrator directly from the Web site.”
Agents can get immediate access to ZProgramsMatch.com by completing a brief registration form on the home page of the site.
