Premier Insurance to Offer Hospital Coverage Sponsored by Allied World

Premier Insurance Management Services Inc. (PIMS) has been endorsed by Allied World Assurance Co. and its affiliates (Allied World) for primary hospital professional liability coverage offering risk management and hospital medical malpractice protection to not-for-profit hospital members of the Premier healthcare alliance.

With the addition of Allied World’s endorsement, PIMS is now offering dual market options for hospital professional liability to help reduce risk, improve patient safety and avoid adverse outcomes.

The professional liability program targets community-based acute care hospitals including critical access, general acute care and specialty (orthopedic, children’s, cardiac, behavioral health, etc.) with 350 beds or fewer, and which have a deductible or retention of up to $1 million in select states. It features a 10 percent premium discount for Premier members and an additional discount, up to 15 percent, for members who use Premier’s QualityConnect solution.

Additional long-term savings are also available through a Safety Dividend Program, where allowed by state law.
