I do have a prediction though. I bet you $1 that we see this woman in playboy magazine within a year.

Once again validates my theory that hot chicks rule this world. As an Uglo-American, I’ve seen this time and time again.

What was she supposed to do, bind her breasts or have breast reduction surgery to keep her job?

Key word, she was DISTRACTING. It’s not her beauty but her wearing and baring that distracted both co-workers and patrons. What ever the distraction is, provactive clothes, bad breath or weeping cold sore, if it inhibits your ability to be effective your boss should have the right to ask you to wear a bra, brush your teeth, see a doctor….

funny how we have seen an article where the hooters gal got fired because she could not fit the clothes properly, now this one because she looks so good, they remove her… now you can look good and still have folks admiring her, but you can’t fire her! she just needs to have the proper clothing and still look great.

Saw the video on this morning’s news. Get over yourself! She is not that great. Another baseless lawsuit. We really need some laws passed about frivilous suits and passing those costs back to the plaintiff for filing the suit.

Problem is we have those laws in place their just never enforced by the courts. Every time I try to get costs/fees from a plaintiff attorney, the judge just give our counsel a “yeah right” look. No matter how frivolous it may seem. It’s not just one state either but every state I’ve had to hire counsel in. So the famous phrase Fuddgedaboutit comes to mind.

Far as Ms. Lorenzana is concerned, well I have to admit, she’s not bad. Once she gets that reality show, we’ll see.

Hot or ugly, appropriate dress attire is expected. Was she unfairly discrimnated against? I find it hard to believe that the boss just came in and said, “I’m sorry you are too hot to work here.” I work in a cubicle and rarely see anyone besides coworkers. If I wore a belly shirt (and believe me that wouldn’t be pretty), my company would take disciplinary action. I hope that we get more details on this case. If she was wearing inappropriate clothes, I have no problem. If she was appropriately dressed and her boss had a drooling problem, perhaps her claims have merit. Let’s see the evidence. And btw, turtlenecks can still be inappropriate for the workplace.

OK people, she is a hottie, but I have worked with as good and better. I called it an “environmentally friendly” workplace before the term became popular with its current meaning. Our HR director was one of the hotties, was as inconspicuously dressed as possible, but was still obviously hot.

We had some complaining guys, so I told them to grow up and shut up or the company would clamp down on the dress code. We handled it and did not lose our “fringe benefits”.

Word got out that I quieted the whiners, and the women stopped by my office frequently to ask if they were “acceptable”. I dated some of them and married one of them.

I think employers have a right to enforce some sort of dress code in a business office. Women who wear overtly provocative and sexual clothing to a business office could be considered to be sexually harrassing the other employees.

Every office I’ve worked at has had at least one… how come every woman in the office can dress professionally except for the one or two that feel the need to dress like they’re on the way out the door to a trendy nightclub in Vegas? This is an office, not a brothel.

I have worked with some extremely zaftig ladies and some flaming lads, some less than handsome ladies and some ugly dudes, and have never heard a supervisor in those times making statements in the nature that this complaint details. Most managers over the age of 45 have lived with this gender and discremination issue and duly respect the limits expected of leadership. Many new managers and supervisors seem to view it as humor and display an irreverant attitude to it with their subordinates. Sounds like she has a ligitimate claim here.

Sorry guys, yes she is good looking, but be realistic, is this really the best you’ve ever seen and you’d be unable to work with her because she is so hot? Honestly? Frankly, I gave you guys more credit than that. You need to get out more, go to the mall, a sporting event, the beach, anywhere there are women and you will find beautiful girls all over the place. Leave your cubicles, explore the world.

She seems to be suffering from Advanced Delusionary Princess Syndrome. Yeah she’s hot, but so are a lot of other women who remain gainfully employed. Her “hotness” would only be a problem if her coworkers are constantly reminded of how HOT she is. Why is this newsworthy?
