Don’t want to work? Do not worry. Obama will cut a check.
Don’t want to read the fine print but instead prefer ignorance? Do not worry. Professor Warren will be there to protect you from the big bad companies already taxed and overregulated by this hope and change administration.
Enough already! Equality of opportunity rather than outcome. Let the one be a mediocre one term office holder.
So great how much is this new agency going to cost the American Tax Payers it seems like this Obama is going to have an Entourage of over 100,000 people working for him so much for cutting back on big government
…and just leave things the way they were and pray we do not have another economic melt-down. Something caused the mess we are in. It only makes sense to try to prevent it from happening again. Do you really think Obama spends his free time plotting how to ruin society? Look what he inherited? Niether TARP or the AIG rescue occured under his watch by the way…
I am so sick of the government trying to “save” everybody. I am also sick of our current government placing people in our government by going around the checks and balances that are in place to prevent people like Warrn from actually having a say in what happens in our country. You KNOW that by going around the checks that are in place she wouldn’t have a chance of getting by the process. Why do we allow this to happen?
Can’t wait for November to get here so we can start the process of getting rid of what continues to be a national disgrace….our politicians!!
“Gee, government is great and perfect and makes everything wonderful. We need a goverment agency for every last infintesimal area of life and society.”
“It is unclear how long Warren will stay in her job establishing the agency. Treasury, which is mandated to set it up, must lay out a timetable soon for how long that will take.”
Until all the goverment parasites and bureaucrats (or do I repeat myself?)can line their pockets with as much taxpayers money as possible. And if you don’t like it, they’ve got guns.
No Jake. The free market did not cause the meltdown of the economy. It was the abuse of the free market which started under Clinton, continued under Bush Jr. Maybe someone should look into the “too big to fail” phenomena and try to keep it from happening again. Do you like owning a piece of AIG? I don’t. Especially since it is worth less every day.
Do Nothing,
My sincerest apologies. I mistakenly thought you were a Rosie protege. It’s amazing how politicians can ruin anything they put their mind to. As you would agree, the mega billionaires who control D.C. must think it nice that they can drive any enterprise into total ruin and still reap hundreds of millions in bonuses.
As far as to big to fail AIG should have failed AIG would have been split up and sold off at a higher value instead the media drug AIG through the mud causing it to loose market share which it still has not recovered from.
When they excluded themselves from it?

Has anyone ever read “Atlas Shrugged”. This is scary.
I DO NOT REMEMBER OBAMA SAYING HE WOULD CUT BACK ON BIG GOVERNMENT! BUT THEN AGAIN, HE IS A LIAR.

ah yes, the old “look what he inerited” argument. You never hear that from an Obama supporter.
If I inherit a mess and make it messier, am I not making things worse?
Do nothing,
Please tell me you don’t believe that the economic meltdown was caused by the free market? Please tell me that no one is that ignorant.
And now for my next impersonation, Rosie:
“Gee, government is great and perfect and makes everything wonderful. We need a goverment agency for every last infintesimal area of life and society.”

Read it 30 years ago. Should be a MUST READ in high school. Oh, I forgot teachers are lefties.
Don’t care what your politics are this should piss you off:
Quote:
“Warren Vows to End Financial ‘Tricks and Traps'”
Quote:
“By selecting her as an adviser rather than as the agency head, Obama sidestepped the congressional confirmation process,”
Really – no more tricks…….
