Crump expanded its team on both the east and west coasts with new additions.
Crump promoted John Lanni to vice president, broker, and team lead and hired Juan Borda as assistant vice president, broker, to expand the firm’s east coast professional lines focus in its Orlando franchise. Crump San Francisco also rehired veteran broker Alex Slawson, expanding its national professional lines practice.
Lanni joined Crump in 2005 and has specialized expertise in directors and officers liability, employment practice liability, and various professional liability risks.
Borda has specialized expertise in banking and fidelity risks and is also fluent in Spanish. Borda previously worked with Professional Risk Solutions, where he served as assistant vice president and was responsible for professional liability placements on behalf of independent agency partners.
Slawson has re-joined Crump after earning a master’s in International Business from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Slawson’s previous experience includes more than nine years with Crump San Francisco’s financial services team, overseeing the professional liability practice and procuring specialty lines of coverage.
