Skip Cooper, president of AmWINS, has been appointed as CEO of Colemont Global Group Limited (CGGL) and Colemont Insurance Brokers Limited (CIBL), announced the AmWins Group Inc.
Jeremy Underwood, currently non-executive director of CIBL, has also returned to CIBL on a full time basis as chairman of CIBL and will work closely with Cooper to oversee Colemont Global Group’s London and International operations.
Surinder Beerh, who formerly served as CEO of Colemont Global Group and CIBL, has left to pursue other interests effective immediately.
AmWINS Group acquired CGGL and CIBL in April 2010 in connection with the merger of AmWINS and Colemont Insurance Brokers.
“Over the past five years, Surinder has built a tremendous platform in London and overseen the development of Colemont Global Group’s international brokerage network,” said M. Steven DeCarlo, CEO of AmWINS. “Surinder has played an important role during the integration process over the last six months and leaves our London and international operations positioned well for the future.”
