..yes: the E&O could affect the agency employees career with the SAME agency, -But would the former boss or HR peep risk advising a new employer inquiry of that persons’ E&O ?
There are a lot of factors which could have caused that E&O.
Would the boss & Company risk a lawsuit if they leaked such info ?
I wouldn’t.
If the guy was entirely to blame for the E&O, I’d be glad to see him go
It would be an interesting question to ask a new hire. We just hired a new employee and I would have liked to ask her that. I agree that this would make the employee a better employee in many cases.
there has been a lot of discussion about an “employee” of the agency but what about an independent producer who sells for the
agency? Are they covered under the Agency’s E&O policy?

“Greenhorns” are E&O hassles waiting to explode.
Another terrific reason to hire an experienced insurance worker, preferably someone with some “street cred.”
