Zurich has promoted Brian Winters to head of Casualty for its Global Corporate in North America (GCiNA) business. Winters was previously head of Casualty for GCiNA’s Northeast Region. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading GCiNA’s domestic casualty operations.
Winters has 25 years of experience in the insurance business, including a variety of underwriting and risk management roles. Prior to joining Zurich, Winters was an underwriting director for XL Insurance’s U.S. Risk Management operation, and held similar roles for Kemper, Travelers Insurance and AIG.
Winters will report to Paul Horgan, chief underwriter officer, GCiNA.
