K&B Underwriters, LLC, an insurance program administrator, has enhanced its senior living program and rebranded the program as DigniCARE Risk Solutions.
The enhancements include a new A.M. Best “A+” rated market with coverage available on a claims made basis in all 50 states, and a new risk management program that uses a holistic approach to help senior living providers evaluate their enterprise risk.
DigniCARE features general liability, professional liability (incident sensitive), excess/umbrella limits up to $5 million, and abuse and molestation coverage, with options for package coverage. Coverage is available for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living facilities and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs).
DigniCARE risk management services will be provided by K&B Risk Advisors and its affiliated partners. These services offer a look at the enterprise across various systems, evaluating such areas as employee safety, satisfaction and employment practices. This approach is designed to help K&B clients:
- Identify and address quality issues that will have the greatest impact on reducing their cost of risk
- Benchmark them with industry peers
- Chart a roadmap to improve industry ranking
- Increase resident census
