Internet Truckstop, an Internet-based freight matching service, is teaming with Registry Monitoring Insurance Service-RMIS to provide tracking and insurance monitoring services to the transportation industry.
Started over 15 years ago and based in Westlake Village, Calif., RMIS is a provider of tracking and reporting of carrier certificates of insurance for the transportation industry. With over 100,000 carriers in their database RMIS provides freight broker, freight forwarders and manufacturers information on carrier insurance policies.
Internet Truckstop is rolling out a product offering called “CACCI” that includes insurance monitoring. The CACCI decision support tool will include carrier performance reporting (CPR), authority history, CSA and score analysis, carrier directory, insurance monitoring and tracking.
