Martino Named President of Travelers Ocean Marine

The Travelers Companies Inc. in Hartford has appointed Raymond T. Martino as the president of Ocean Marine.

Martino is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the ocean marine unit, which provides insurance products for commercial hulls, cargo, luxury yachts, port authorities, shipbuilders and other maritime exposures.

Prior to this appointment, Martino was vice president of field operations for ocean marine and was previously the chief underwriting officer for ocean marine. From 2000 to 2003, he served as the head of ocean marine for Atlantic Mutual, which was later acquired by Travelers.

Martino is based in New Jersey. This appointment is effective immediately.
