At some point, changes will have to be made. This is almost comical. The industry is paying for issues they did not create and there is ample evidence to prove not all the cases of cancer or lung related illnesses were caused by asbestos, yet the lawsuits are still allowed. Why is a coal miner allowed to sue an insurance Carrier over a lung disease? Correct me if I am wrong (I am not), but isn’t working in a mine absolutely the worst thing you can do for your lungs to begin with?
This is just another one of the many forms of “unemployment / disability” insurance for another affected group to stay home in the mornings. I wish I would WIN the lottery too!
Here we go again. At some point are we going to run out of limits? Or carriers?
