All Risks Ltd. has obtained a new market for charter bus companies of all sizes effective Jan. 1, 2012.
The coverage will be available through the company’s York, Penn.-based livery unit, which will serve as the program administrator. The carrier is rated A+ by A.M. Best.
The program targets charter bus companies of all sizes, including motor coach companies, sightseeing buses and tour bus companies. Primary and excess auto liability, physical damage and general liability coverages are available.
“This highly recognized insurer of buses and other commercial vehicles supports the charter bus and motor coach industry by providing advice on laws and regulations to increase awareness of current issues facing bus operators and owners,” said Jim Vajda, All Risks Ltd. vice president of Transportation.
David Aune and Melisa Yung will underwrite the Charter Bus program. Submissions should include an Acord application, supplemental application, current year loss runs and three prior years, four quarters of international fuel tax agreements and current motor vehicle reports.
All Risks Ltd.’s livery unit also covers limousines, airport shuttles, non-emergency transportation, school bus contractors, taxi operations, employee transportation and courtesy vans. Liability limits up to $5 million are available as well as Hired and Non-owned Auto Liability from multiple “A” or better A.M. Best ratings.
