BevCap Management, LLC has been named the exclusive program manager for new insurance programs by the National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA).
The program for traditional guaranteed cost property and casualty and will be underwritten by SPARTA Insurance Co. It is designed specifically for NBWA members and focuses on the insurance, loss control and claims handling issues that are unique to the beverage industry. Enhancements include employment practices liability, limited product recall, liquor liability and others.
Limited medical insurance plans are also available and customizable with no pre-existing limitations.
One benefit is that NBWA members will not need to go to a new agent or broker to access the products.
“It is a ground-breaking program that allows our member’s current agent to continue to act as their broker and keep intact the often long-standing local relationships,” said Patti Rouzie, NBWA’s vice president of meetings and memberships.
BevCap Management specializes in guaranteed cost and alternative risk transfer insurance products for beer distributors. The company also manages programs for homogeneous group captives for dairy and food processors and tire dealers.
