Zurich has named Dan Nash its healthcare practice leader. Nash succeeds Patrick Lundy, who was recently appointed to head of Zurich’s Canada operations. Nash will be based in Chicago.
Nash will focus on growing Zurich’s healthcare business across all market segments. He will also be responsible for engaging brokers and customers, positioning Zurich as a leader within the industry, and defining the healthcare practice strategy and targets as well as monitoring performance.
Nash joined Zurich in 2006 as a regional vice president for Specialty Products. Previously, he served 21 years as a healthcare industry leader with a number of organizations in Chicago, including global brokers Marsh and Willis, the Illinois State Medical Society and the Illinois State Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange. He also has affiliations with healthcare industry associations including the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society, American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
