Rockhill Insurance Group has expanded its product offerings to include primary general liability. The new underwriting unit will be led by Bob Stone, who will be based in Dallas, Texas. Stone will focus on building a national book of primary general liability business written on a non-admitted basis, which will include commercial contracting, manufacturing and premises/operations risks.
Distribution will be through selected wholesale insurance brokers.
Prior to joining Rockhill, from 2000 to 2012, Stone led RLI’s General Liability and Umbrella business for its Los Angeles office and Western region. Rockhill Insurance Co. is a subsidiary of the State Auto Group.
