Rockwood Programs, Inc. has been appointed to serve as the national administrator of a new employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) product. The coverage will be underwritten by member companies of Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. These carriers are rated A+by A.M. Best. EPLI will initially be offered on a non-admitted basis; steps are being taken to file the product in all states.
The Rockwood employment practices liability insurance program offers defense and indemnity protection against claims arising from the employer/employee relationship. The policy shields employers – plus all current, former, and prospective employees, directors and officers, even the corporate entity – against an array of employment-related claims. Multiple limit and deductible options are available.
Rockwood has also streamlined the EPLI application process. Retail agents can secure a non-binding indication of premium on most risks through the company’s website. The system will provide a matrix of limit and deductible options in real-time, based on some basic demographic information.
The claims administrator for the program is Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker.
