New York-based Integro Insurance Brokers has acquired Allan Chapman & James Insurance Brokers Limited of Colchester, a United Kingdom insurance broker.
Established in 1988, Allan Chapman & James specializes in insurance for the independent film, television and media industry sectors.
The firm will retain its current trading name and become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Integro Insurance Brokers Limited.
Allan Chapman & James founders Les Marshall and Terry Austin, along with Commercial Director John Claffey, will remain with the firm and continue as company directors. They will be joined on the board by Bill Goldstein, Integro chief financial officer; Ron Whyte, chief executive of Integro International; and John Owens, chief financial officer of Integro’s London operations.
