Even though Mark Zandi was a John McCain economic advisor one doesn’t need to listen to very many of hs comments to quickly conclude he is left of center and is more aligned with the economic agenda of Mr. Obama than those of his opponent so if his fingerprints are on this report (the first of which comes out a few days before the election) any conclusions have to be taken with a grain of salt. The timing of this change (right before the election) is certainly interesting. Why not make this change a month before or a month after? Why first make this change for the report due just right before the election? Interesting? Coincidental? Hmmm?
I actually don’t have many conspiracy theories. I just find the timing of this change really odd. And as I say, Mark Zandi doesn’t even try to hide his biases. To choose to make this change in methodology in the report immediately prior to an election just seems too coincidental to me.

How do you keep all the conspiracies straight?
