Trinity Underwriting Managers, Inc. (TUMI), a Georgia-based program administrator, has expanded its commercial auto capabilities. TUMI has established a relationship with an “A” rated carrier that underwrites business auto classes including, but not limited to: garbage trucks, cement mixers, dump trucks, contractors, food & beverage distributors, lunch trucks, catering operations, household movers, milk haulers, retail & wholesale delivery, septic service companies and mobile businesses.
This program began on Feb. 1, 2013 and can be accessed by appointed retail agents throughout the U.S.
Founded in 2008, TUMI is a program manager underwriting niche transportation programs on a nationwide basis. Current product offerings include: tow trucks, auto repossession, auto transport, intermodal trucking, excess auto and the recently launched business auto program. TUMI operates a wholesale division that places those risks falling outside the parameters of their established program underwriting guidelines.
