200 customers across the entire country? Come on, agents, there is nothing that your local bank is giving you that you can’t get from InsurBanc. I’ve been competing lately with Wells Fargo payroll services, taking away my comp customers, and their insurance agency picking away at my personal lines customers, not to mention the many other banks who own insurance agencies that directly compete with agents.

How many agents have their accounts at their direct competitors? That’d be like me going across the street and purchasing my auto insurance from Allstate.

I have been with Insurbanc from its inception, and they have always been top-notch. It’s really disappointing for me to read how little support the bank has gotten from complacent agents who obviously suffer from wishful thinking, like the Island of Misfit Toys waiting for Santa Claus, that the banks that have competing agencies will either respect them so much as to give them qualified referals on a regular basis, or eventually will offer too much money to buy their agencies. I can’t think of any other reason to deal with these high-fee competitors.

Insurbanc has horrible customer service compared against its competitors, and its people lack depth of knowledge of the industry. Try to do a deal with them and you’ll be waiting for weeks to get a response and then months and months to get an approval. The only reason they exist is because they carry the Big I name. Their rates are higher than traditional banks too! Go to your own commercial bank or Oak Street Funding.

Congrats to the fine people at Insur Banc. I have had the pleasure of working with Barbara and Bob and there is no better people then the team at this bank. They are caring and thoughtful and understand the needs of insurance agents and brokers. I reccomend the group in Farmington above all others. Stay well.

The people at Insure Bank are very knowledgable about insurance and lending to agencies and give great advice.
