Old Hank continues to keep on suing. I bet his attorneys are having fun on their sizable retainers for legal actions. It never seems to go anywhere, but that doesn’t keep him from trying.

Where in the consitution does the government have the power to seize 80% of a publically traded corportation’s stock! Hank is correct that Paulson did not have the power to wipe out the investments of the AIG shareholders.

Paul, AIG did it to themselves by getting involved in all the credit swaps which led to their demise. Hank is nothing but an old crook who happened to be in charge of AIG for a very long time. Do you remember the bid rigging scheme with Marsh under his leadership? Whether it was Constitutional or not is a moot point. They were going down. The taxpayers were out $182 Billion and I am not sure we have recovered the money in total since they have been playing games for the past 4 years. The shareholders got screwed and the taxpayers to a greater extent. I don’t think there are any people in jail with Bernie over this colossal mess.
