The Obama administration is keenly interested in providing an open forum for whistleblowers… so they can disappear or destroy them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Obama has prosecuted more whisleblowers than all other US Presidents COMBINED. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Unfortunately, current leadership seems to be as averse to daylight as Dracula, and any subsequent executive administration will be as unlikely to cede any new powers as this one has been.

Meanwhile, the fervent pursuit of a global legal framework of third party liability (via TPP and other methods) to fully implement a permission culture on the internet continues unabated.

Funny how those out of power (as Obama once was) are so supportive of whistleblower protection. But once having gained that power turn coat so quickly. Kinda the same as those terrible Bush deficits of $500 billion which Obam decried as a Senator and then as President promptly more than doubled and sustained the same. Nothing this administraion does surprises me anymore.
