It’s all about spending and whether we will ever get it under control if we simply let these spending laws continue ad infinitum without review, discussion or questions. In a very practical sense, we are already bankrupt, or soon will be, but no one is admitting that. So, how can we keep on spending without restraint?
One of the chief causes is the linking unrelated spending programs together in the same bills so that weaker spending proposals can ride the coattails of more popular proposals. Every proposal should be able to stand on its own feet if it is at all worthy or fiscally responsible.

Rusty, Our broken government is so used to tying several things together and amending the tar out of it, it bears little resemblance to the original intent. They think they have to subsidize everything from farmers to Food Stamps. The problem with that approach is that it makes everyone dependent on government. RINO’s and Democrats should all be ashamed at letting government get out of control. The Agriculture Dept is one of the bigger wasters of taxpayer money and need to be cut in half and they would still be too large.
