Atlanta-based insurance broker Beecher Carlson, a division of Brown & Brown Inc., has appointed Frederick Wass as senior vice president.
Bringing 30 years of energy experience, Wass will report to Rob Bothwell, president of Energy. He will be responsible for risk analysis, program design and delivery of Beecher Carlson’s National Energy Practice services and resources.
Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Wass was with NRG Energy Inc. in Princeton, New Jersey. While at NRG, he managed the business and project development activities in support of NRG’s strategic plan for renewable energy in the U.S. market. Prior to joining NRG, Wass was with the Houston Energy Group and the Coastal Power Co. in Houston.
