ACE USA, the U.S. based retail operations of ACE Group, has appointed Carl Sutter as senior vice president, Distribution Management. Sutter will have responsibility for developing strategic broker relationships, and driving broker-specific distribution strategies on a national basis for all ACE operating units. Sutter is based in Philadelphia, and will report to Ed Zaccaria, Division president, ACE USA Regional Operations.
Sutter brings 24 years of experience in the insurance arena, all of them with ACE USA or its predecessor organization. He most recently served as senior vice president, National Corporate Risk Segment Leader for ACE USA regional operations, where he was responsible for ACE USA’s middle market sales, marketing and distribution initiatives. Earlier in his career, Sutter held various roles in business development, field operations, account management and claims.
