K&K Insurance Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Aon plc has launched a new website for agents that provides access to online insurance quoting and purchasing capability for outfitters and guides (O&G) operations.The O&G e-commerce website offers the capability to purchase coverage for operations offering any of the following combination of activities: water operations including Class I, II, III, rivers, flat water, and sea kayaking (guided); fishing (guided); paddling schools; non-motorized watercraft/tube rental-only operations (non-guided); hunting (guided); hiking; backpacking; bicycling; cross-country skiing; snowshoeing; surfing; or paddleboarding.
To be eligible, the insured must have been in business for at least one year or have three years of equivalent experience. Total gross receipts for the business must be less than $750,000, retail cannot exceed 80% of the total receipts and owned lodging/camping cannot exceed 50 percent of total receipts. Snorkeling and shoreline sailing must be less than 10 percent of total receipts. This program’s minimum premium is $1,000 and is not available via the ecommerce website in Kentucky.
Incidental activities covered include: retail sales of merchandise and equipment; food/beverage services; athletic courts; participation in demonstration days, trade shows or events; equipment rental; office exposures; and motorized watercraft (less than 250hp) for camping.
Limits offered are $1 million aggregate/$1 million per occurrence; $2 million aggregate/$2 million per occurrence; or $3 million aggregate/$3 million per occurrence. Medical payments are excluded.
Inland marine coverage that provides coverage for equipment & contents and supplies & inventory is now available with limits up to $100,000. Replacement cost coverage is included.
Outfitters and guides who are not eligible under these guidelines may be eligible for K&K’s non-RPG outfitters & guides program.
