W. R. Berkley Corp. has named Wayne H. Carter, III as president of Berkley Program Specialists.
Carter succeeds John Diem, who is retiring.
Based in Naperville, Illinois, Berkley Program Specialists is a program management company offering both admitted and non-admitted insurance support for commercial program administrators and in-house program managers with specialized insurance expertise.
Carter has 35 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry in underwriting, risk management and distribution. Most recently, he served as the president and chief executive officer of a managing general underwriter and program administrator specializing in professional liability insurance programs.
