ASCnet (Applied Systems Client Network) has changed its name to Applied Client Network.
Based in Des Plaines, Ill., the association represents insurance agencies and brokerages that use Applied software worldwide.
In conjunction with the name change, the association introduced a new logo and said it will retain the tagline “Ask Us” to emphasize the user group’s role as a resource for education and networking support.
Formed in 1985 as the National User Group of Applied Systems (NUGAS), the association became the North American User Group of Applied Systems (NAUGUS) in the early 1990s, after Applied expanded into Canada.
