Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. announced that Mark McGivney will become senior vice president, Corporate Finance, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Mike Bischoff, effective October 1.
McGivney will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Development, Investor Relations, and Treasury functions. Since 2011, McGivney has served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Mercer, the MMC human resources and retirement consulting unit. From 2007 to 2011, he was chief financial officer of MMC’s risk and insurance brokerage unit Marsh.
Before joining Marsh, McGivney held senior positions at The Hanover Insurance Group, including senior vice president of Finance, treasurer, and chief financial officer of Property/ Casualty.
