The new national officers of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National) were installed during the group’s September board of directors meeting held in San Antonio, Texas. Each of the officers will serve one-year terms that begin on Oct. 1, 2014, and run through Sept. 30, 2015.
Richard A. Clements, of Chalmette, Louisiana becomes president; Robert W. Hansen Jr., , of Omaha, Nebraska becomes president-elect; Gareth W. Blackwell Jr., of Corinth, Maine becomes vice president/treasurer; Timothy G. Russell, of Southport, Connecticut becomes secretary/assistant treasurer; and John G. Lee, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, becomes immediate past president.
PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance, but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses.
