Aon plc has activated the Aon Ebola Response Task Force, a team comprised of risk and health professionals worldwide, to monitor the current Ebola outbreak and provide guidance to clients directly and through its newly created Aon Ebola Response Room.
Aon’s Ebola Response Room is a platform that includes documents such as Ebola-related travel exposures from Aon’s WorldAware Solutions, crisis communication checklists, and environmental exposures of health care workers, among other materials. It provides insight on the Ebola situation, specifically as it relates to Ebola-related risk exposures, duty of care and human capital concerns. It will be continually updated as the Ebola situation develops. The site does not address epidemiologic or medical concerns related to Ebola.
While the Ebola Response Task Force is coordinating closely with leaders of various industries, including aviation, hospitality, public entity and higher education, among others, the risks faced by the health care industry are top of mind.
