My detached garage with la studio apartment above was damaged during Hurricane of August 2011 Flood Insurace Company denied the claim since policy had an exclusion regarding garages with living quarters.hopefully this new ruling will correct this. My Mortagee BANK OF AMERICA settled with the U.S SOUTHERN District Court after being charged by the U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL with unfair practices in providing lender placed Flood And Homeowners Insurace. They are required to return most of the commissions thetr received from the Insurance Companies dating back to 2008
