The VFIS group Accident & Sickness policy (admitted and Best’s A/XV rated) is a supplement to workers’ compensation coverage for firefighters, etc. (or in MA and RI in lieu of WC), and it covers “any” communicable illness including Ebola, as it has for at least two decades. Their number is 1-800-233-1957 to learn more or discuss coverage. I am not employed by them but do write several hundred of these policies with them.

How does this coverage complement WC? Does it pay additional wage benefit up to 100%? What else?
