USI Insurance Services said it has completed its previously announced acquisition of seven retail insurance brokerage locations from Willis North America Inc., part of Willis Group Holdings.
Under the agreement, USI acquired the following brokerage locations from Willis North America: Wilmington, Delaware; Vero Beach, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; Moline, Illinois; Wichita, Kansas; and Cheyenne and Mills, Wyoming. The deal was first announced in August.
USI said the acquisition further strengthens USI’s nationwide middle market brokerage footprint and complements USI’s suite of property/casualty, employee benefits, personal lines, retirement and specialty offerings. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Michael Sicard, USI’s chairman, president and CEO, said these seven locations are in new markets for USI — locations where USI is looking to invest and grow.
USI is headquartered in Valhalla, New York, and operates out of more than 140 offices across the United States.
