    Thus the reason carriers send out the “omnibus” letter to all insureds which then lead to insureds calling agent in a panic….

    when coming up for the writing of these in an underwriting office, my approach was “your premium may increase, decrease or stay the same. We are telling you this per state law”.

    This is a good reference but are these requirements for all lines of coverage? Does workers’ compensation have a different standard?
