Specialty Insurance Group (SIG) has increased its excess/umbrella coverage underwriting capacity to $25 million, an increase of $15 million. SIG provides specialty insurance programs in the sports, leisure and entertainment industries.
According to SIG, an affiliate of Everest Re Group, Ltd., the increase is an important step forward as the company nears its two-year anniversary, particularly as it continues to develop additional product and service capabilities designed specifically for the sports, leisure and entertainment industries.
Greg Mosher, managing director of SIG, said the increase is an opportunity for the company to keep everything internal. The increase in excess/umbrella capacity will apply to all businesses in all forms of the sports, leisure and entertainment industries.
SIG is based in Indianapolis and is a member company of Everest Re Group, Ltd. Its target programs include, but are not limited to: amateur and professional sports, motorsports, entertainment, event sponsors, venues and special events—all while offering insurance products in contingency, participant accident, worker’s compensation, property and liability coverage.
